Nursing Training to Become a Certified Nurse

There are several educational options available in order to obtain nursing training specifically to be a registered nurse. You can complete a bachelor's degree, an associate's degree, or obtain a diploma from an accredited nursing program. A national licensing examination must then be completed in order to obtain a license to practice nursing.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Nursing training programs are offered in many colleges and universities throughout the country. Although a BSN takes longer than the other programs, some careers and jobs in nursing are only open to those who hold a bachelor's degree.
